As the co-founder of Hempact, I'm working on creating sustainable and biodegradable menstrual products to turn people's periods into a monthly eco-friendly act.
Why? Because menstrual waste contributes to sending 20 million products to North America landfills each year, but current reusable options are too time consuming to manage. Developing a pad product that people are already familiar with, but is eco-friendly, is my way of empowering people who menstruate with sustainable period options!
